Watched that as well and wondered the same thing. Not that his lock is not the best but seemed a little over the top. I think any of those locks are better than nothing.

I have nothing against his lock, and am sure it is great. A lock only needs to be enough deterrent for the thief to move to the next trailer.

To be fair he could have compared some of the other $200 + locks against his. He chose 3 sub $70 dollar locks instead. He didn't chose some of the most secure sub $70 dollar locks either. He could have even compared a couple of Blaylock device like the $30+ TL-33 or $40+ TL-23.

Basically a collar with a pin that extends. Don’t use it anymore.
