Heat and ac fan on

Made the first trip of the season this weekend and it got a little cold. I turned the thermostat on heat and the furnace ignited and the blower on the furnace started, as well as the AC fan. I found this odd and quite annoying so I turned the breaker for the AC to off. Sorry if this is a repeat question but is this normal operation of the furnace to run as well as the fan on the ac unit?
This is on a 2016 Passport 2810bh

You probably have the Dometic 3 button LCD display thermostat.

Push “mode” until you see FAN displayed. It will most likely be in Hi or Lo, just press one of the buttons on the right until it says AUTO.

In auto just the furnace fan will operate when on HEAT.

When the thermostat is set to hi or low, the AC fan will activate when the furnace operates. Completely normal. Set it to auto to run the furnace independently of the ac fan.
