Blackout Shade pulls

Our toyhauler has 5 blackout shades around the couch slide out, given the tall ceiling, you had to step up on the couch to reach them when in the full up position. My buddy's Momentum came with some nifty pulls, and I came up with something similar today to keep DW happy and me busy today. Luckily I had all the parts around the house to rig this up.
1" PVC cut into 1" ring sections, then sliced out about 3/8 of a inch. Heated them up with a heat gun while squeezing in the vice to mold them to match up with the profile of the shade bottom rod. Sanded them smooth, bit of black spray paint and a 3/16 hole for the 2 foot of paracord for the extension. Found 5 matching wine corks (not hard in this house) and drilled out with the 3/16th bit and then recessed the bottom with a 3/8 bit to hide the knots. In the picture , the top cord was my prototype and there are two below it all painted and ready to clip on. These snapped over the bottom rails easily, we used a pretty long cord but it should drop behind the couch when down.
