Two step or Three step on 1800RB.

.

Last couple of trips we have made with the 1800RB we have been on sites where I had to lift the door side of the TT to get it level. This has made the first step of our two step just a little bit high to reach from the ground. I have a step stool that we use for such occasions but I would like a more permanent fix.

Is there either a Keystone or after market step that is set-up so you can either deploy 2 or 3 steps ?

From my experience it will depend on the width of your door.. My old Passport had two doors... the forward door which entered just outside the bedroom which had a 3 step and the rear door which entered into the living area.. which had a 2 step..

Since we almost always used the rear door I had the bright idea that I'd order a 3 step for it...

So..... I measured the 3 step and ordered another just like it... Yep, you guessed it... didn't fit the 2 step mounting area.. Measured the 2 step and couldn't find a 3 step that would fit...

Still got the new 3 step in my garage at the sticks & bricks...

Are you looking for a step system that would allow you to deploy a third step when needed?

I don't recall seeing anything around like that. We do the small step stool concept when needed.

We carry a solid pallet works good for us. And we always have extra firewood.

Hodgy those 3 step setups on some TTs have the bottom step that flips over the 2nd step. You could cut a piece of plywood to cover the 3rd step when not needed and flipped over so you can step on it.
