A little Monday humor...
Our friend has to have a stress test at the VA later today and he asked if I and DW would drive he and his DW over to West Palm VA to have it done; driving his new Ram 3500 of course. And then he jokingly said he was going to tell all our friends that I was driving his new Ram. At 5:00 this morning I snuck over to his RV and taped four of these over his major emblems....

I had a diehard Ford friend go with us to dinner in my GMC & he said he hoped no one saw him in it, so DW got a brown paper bag, cut eye holes & drew a huge smile on it, he actually put it on, his DW took a picture & sent picture to his Ram buddy & said now he could also ride with him.

Ford only wishes they had courted Cummins instead of IH.

Ummm, not now. Yes we suffered through 6.0 and then 6.4 but the current 6.7 is a dream.
Besides., Ram would be extinct if they didn’t have Cummins.

I got this text about 11:30 or so. People came for miles to see my art work...okay, from two rows over. I've driven his truck on two occasions to the Palm Beach area and found that the seats are almost as comfortable as a Ford, the side mirrors are very difficult to get used to, the electronics are every bit as complicated as a Ford, the ride is just the way DW and I like (exceedingly firm), cab is very quiet, back seat is very comfortable. We have literally no serious complaints, only comments and compliments. I do believe the steering wheel was designed by the same people as the builders of Indy race cars. I may be mistaken, but you may be able to order a pizza to go using the controls on the wheel alone! It is a nice ride! (I need to work on the longevity of my replacement emblems, however)
"My Tooth Fairy showed up last night, and guess what, you'll be driving a FORD today. Hold your head up high and be proud. LOL "

Your modification may confuse law enforcement if he is caught speeding.

Does it have a heated tailgate, so when you have to push it your hands do not get cold

I worked for Ford in their Service Division and swore I would never buy a Ford because I saw all the complaints. Now over 25 years later and I'm driving a 2015 Ford F150 XLT and love it. My primary reason for buying a late model Ford is the aluminum body panels which don't rust. Almost all the older Ram trucks around here have severe rust penetration.

That was the least expensive upgrade that dodge will ever have.

I've had all three brands over the years. Currently 2017 F350. All the old ones rusted out but I think the Dodge had more trouble. Seems all the newer ones do better on that. My solutions was to go south for winter where they don't salt the roads so much.
Having said that all the new trucks are really nice. I could flip a coin and be happy with the outcome.

I purchased the Dodge from a man and his wife that were from England and used it to tour the states some. He purchased the truck new in Texas and took very good care of it and it had 75,000 miles on it when I purchased it and the Keystone Everest along with it. The truck is a 2008 and the Everest is a 2005 but both were in nice condition. Yeah it's funny that here is Florida the cars don't seem to rust like up north.

No problem -- his driver's license is also masking tape and Sharpie.

Until recently, you could fit Peterbilt emblems on to the grill and tailgates of Ford trucks and they fit pretty good. Now there is like a 2" difference on the grill (the Ford emblem is bigger) not sure on the tailgate. It just gives the impression "When I grow up I want to be a Peterbilt" If someone really wanted to do this, I am sure a sign shop could make an overlay.
