Any headlight restoration kit would work.
Harbor freight has one

It's just the way it is...time will cloud the dome.

Unless you want to keep going up on top just accept it....heck, what do you want to see anyway????

I agree that a headlight restoration kit will work and help keep it from clouding up again.

I can see where Deet would work on the plastic. Guys in the archery club that I belong to sometimes will get it on their hands. It takes the finish off of the bows before they're done shooting the course.

Which is why I refuse to put it anywhere on my skin.

It will also make your graphics and Fiberglass siding look new. Takes a lot of oxidation “Off”

Slightly off-topic......but has anyone ever tinted the dome? Inside panel or outside panel. It's nice for extra headroom and actually kinda keeps u warm when taking a mid-day shower. But sometimes I feel it makes the heating and cooling less efficient. Thought bout tint and maybe colored tint (like blue) to give the bathroom a cool look when light comes thru

I removed the interior dome in our shower, taped a piece of "non-slip shelf liner" (the lacy kind with holes) to the top of the inside dome, reinstalled it and it acts as a "light diffuser" blocking about 2/3 of the sunlight (heat) while allowing a subdued light into the shower. It's been there about 5 years and still working. Cost= about 10 minutes and a spare piece of shelf liner.....

Yep! I took the inside piece down & DW tinted it, made a huge difference.
Seen others use a stained glass looking type film on the inside piece also, looked very nice.
As to polishing a clear one, not sure I'd go to too much trouble, the view from there is not that great.

I agree with you,, especially the heat it generates in air conditioner season. I have put up a small shade that I hung horizontally, when I shower I open it, but close it afterwards,, works great

Very nice, looks elegant. So I guess I can get some transparent high temp vinyl in a color to put in between

Awesome, glad I'm not the only one with this idea.
Seen a few on high end RVs that had a retractable sunshade. But I don't really like the look of it overall. Just prefer tint

I put a piece of the silver foil bubble wrap in mine to block the light and heat.

Cheap fix.... Use some tooth paste and the rough side of a sponge then rinse.
