Climate & Lighting Upgrades??

Has anyone upgraded their climate controls to something digital or like a Nest?
I have seen some YouTube videos on adding a home type to various coaches. But no Nest on one yet. I do realize ,it seems, most #1 drawback is the Fan Speed capabilities. Adding an outboard toggle switch fixes that. I usually only use High Fan Speed on mine, so I could just omit the Low wire connection.
I have 2 Coleman Mach systems. FZ 420 Fuzion for reference. I have the basic digital read out controller. I see Dometic has a new App digital one now. Coleman does not.
I guess having a backlight on the display and programming times is my main goal. We currently full time live. So makes it easier for us and more efficient.

My other upgrade, is light switches. Over my couch in the slide, the lights are bright. I wanted to add a dimmer switch. So when we watch TV, we can have some lower level light and reduce glare. Since they are LED lights, I think it's a simple project. I found a nice dimmer switch RV specific and for LED.
Correct me if I am wrong......i have not tested yet....but isn't all the RV lighting 12v ??

I also found some home replacement glass-panel, touch-sensative digitized type, classy looking light switches. Even has remote and some have App control capable Pimp stuff. They make 120v & 12v versions.

Not sure about your stat ques but all your lighting is 12v. Others will jump in here that understand the heat and AC system with great answers and ideas on that.

The only light we have ever had in an RV that was 120V was the light globe on our ceiling fan in the Raptor. And like Tinner, I suspect someone with HVAC experience will step in this thermostat advice.
