Favorite TV Programs

So, when you have a quiet night to sit and enjoy a program. What do you watch? The DW and I love murder and mayhem. So we watch Law and Order SVU, The Blacklist, and Criminal Minds. We just finished watching the finale of Longmire. What a great show! How about you?

We seem to have minds that run a little further up the sophisticated line: We watch Perry Mason and Andy Griffith. (However we are closet watchers of Forensic Files)

Forensic Files, The Voice and NASCAR are at the top of the list.
Cowboy Dusters when we have access to the channel.

Madam Secretary, The Blacklist, Seal Team and the Chicago series (Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med) and a recent "first choice": The Good Doctor.

The high today was 21 and the low for the past few nights has been in the single digits, so not much outside stuff is going on. I suppose the fireplace, lots of popcorn and the big screen will be a major distraction for the next few weeks/months

Mostly watch Netflix shows- don't have cable. Currently watching the final season of Longmire, just finished Stranger Things 2. About to watch the next part of the Ranch when it is released on Friday. Only shows we watch on network TV (through our HD antennae) are Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon.

Never had much time for TV, but, after almost 12 years of retirement I do watch some. DW watches much more. We had Dish at all of our houses but when we put wifi into them we found we had no use for network TV....we just don't have the patience to wait out all the commercials and crap. We watch Netflix or Amazon. I kept Dish for a while so I could get weather but then came Weather Nation so out went all of our Dish connections.

I am the MDK guy (murder, death, kill) and DW is the opposite. We compromise and watch a plethora of things. Longmire, Blacklist, CSI Miami (until it was removed), Crossing Jordan, the old classics like Mayberry (and many more) and now watching When Calls the Heart. I get my news and weather primarily from the internet now.

Hmm...I must join the group somewhat at murder, death, and some mystery? Used to like CSI (the original) and House when they was on. Now, I watch The Good Doctor, NCIS, NCIS New Orleans, Lucifer (although this season not as good), and Expedition Unknown. Also used to like River Monsters. I guess I'm just a little eclectic.

Easy-
Monday: Street outlaws
Tuesday: moonshiners
Friday: Gold Rush Alaska, Bearing sea Gold.
I sort of like NCIS.

I have a tendency to point out inconsistencies in story line, details in scenes like clothes, shirts buttoned/unbuttoned...small details I know so I don’t watch a lot of “regular channels”.

And then there’s Sunday night- NEVER MISS Family guy!

Wife watches all the cop shows. When I see someone on an autopsy table with a ice pick in their ear, I leave the room. I will watch Hawaii 50 for the opening theme music and the uh uhm "scenery". "Vikings" is about my favorite and is surprisingly historically correct.
Mostly watch business news on mute.

Most of my TV watching is confined to sports - baseball in particular - and a couple cable news shows.

My MIL lives with us and loves The Voice so that's every Monday and Tuesday. Wife and I like Madam Secretary and Blue Bloods. Like Gearhead I like the opening of Hawaii Five-O, but the show has gotten pretty stale for me.

We started watching Blacklist when it first came on a couple or three years ago, but then it got too violent. I'm no prude, but in my mind it just went over the top.

Not much for television. But when I do, its baseball and college football (so done with the NFL!), contrasting the biases on the news networks , outdoor shows like Northwoods Law, Everybody Loves Raymond (my family resembles the "Barone's ), Last Man Standing (love Tim Allen), and my favorite Dogs 101.

It's cold here in the Poconos and another few inches of snow this morning. The ADCO cover came in for my TT a couple days ago, but I can't seem to get it on the TT because of the friggin' snow .

Stay warm!

Griz, I had to laugh when I read the "My family resembles the Barone's." I can't tell you the number of episodes of Raymond that we laughed our butts off. Earlier I did fail to mention that our very favorite television is college football. In that I went to school at Wisconsin I have an even bigger interest than DW who is a huge 'Huskers fan. Until this thread I had no idea how many CSI fans there are. I've never seen it, but obviously a large number have.

Raymond and the Barone's crack me up! You will have one up on the DW as you watch the Orange Bowl!!! I'll be rooting for you as well as PSU in the Fiesta Bowl. Go Big10!

Kinda off topic...sorry!

NCIS, the Chicago series shows, and Blue Bloods. Can always watch American Pickers, Pawn Stars, and anything on the Velocity channel.
