Water pump in Hideout 28RKS

We have a 2018 Hideout 28RKS and cannot located the water pump access. We can hear it running, but the apparent location doesn't seem to have any panels we can remove in order to get to it. We need to winterize! Help please!

If the sound is coming from the bedroom area it could be on the drivers side beside the bed, if this is a carpeted area their are two screws holding a lid on the water pump, you have to find the screws and then can take it off. If not the location add water to your water tank and open a sink faucet and let it run, keep going until you find it. I also asked my Cougar dealer where the water pump was and he said run it and keep following the sound!

It is definitely at the back of the camper near the water heater/kitchen area. The cabinets don't have an access panel that we can find to get to it.

Our Cougar 27RKS has a similar floorplan. The water pump in our trailer is in the bottom of the pantry, behind a luan panel that's held in place by two #2 Roberts screws. Open the pantry and look at the bottom, behind the lower pantry cabinet door. Maybe yours is where ours is ???? If not, maybe there's a false bottom in the pantry that lifts up ???

If not there, ours is in the back right hand corner of the kitchen also behind an access panel w/ 2 screws.

The section it seems to be under (beneath the counter in the corner) has no screws to get thru to it. No access.

Have you tried removing the drawers? You should be able to see into that space and perhaps locate a way into it.

I see 6 screws in the panel under the refrigerator. You can remove the 4 screws behind the access door on your power supply and slide it out of the way (the wiring harness is long enough to pull it out at least 12-18 inches. If you think it's under the two drawers, you can remove them to access the area under them. I'd suspect that's where your fresh water tank is located.

Yeah, we need to try that. Tried a bit earlier, but they don't remove/release easily.

The power center is easy to remove. Open the access door, you'll see 4 screws, remove them, the door comes off and the power center will slip out of the hole it's mounted in. Easy to do and fast to return to original with almost zero chance of "screwing something up".... Just unplug the trailer before you take the door off, there's 30 amps of 120 VAC behind that door.....

Is there an update to this hunt? I’m about to go winterize my 28rks and would like to narrow the search for the pump.
