Cover or not

I will be keeping my TT in Florida in a outside storage next summer from
May to Nov. Should I use an All-Climate cover to protect my unit from the
sun and rain for the summer. Also how do I prevent moisture problems during
the summer season, do I use moisture absorbent product in the TT when it's
in storage?

I don't think RV covers are a good idea for the many reasons that have been posted on the forum. On the other hand, if you are going to leave it outside, "uncovered" in FL for months and not tend to it that's a bad idea too. FL can be brutal and 7 months with it just sitting there is another bad idea.

I live in Texas and the sun is brutal on RV's parked in the open. The seams on the roof dry and crack and start to leak, the finish fades and the tires dry rot. Those RV covers are a pain and the sun gets to them also. Covered storage out of the sun is the only answer in my opinion to keep your new toy looking good and not deteriorating prematurely.

I cover our Cougar for 6 months during our winter. IMHO the cover is a reasonable cost alternative to covered storage. Just the idea of 6 months that the sun/UV rays are not deteriorating the roof and vinyl decals let alone the finish on the side panels and front cap makes me believe it's a good idea. To each his own, but I say some protection is better than none for extended storage.
