Shades

We just bought a 2018 Cougar TT 29rld.
The shades are giving us fits, won’t go up (possibly a stupid question) is there a trick or certain way to get them to go up and down easier?

Not Day and Night shades.

Are they roller shades or pleated "up/down" shades?

should be easy, just use both hands centered halfway on each side. Not only have them in TT, but also in home.

We have to rise and lower ours one shade at a time not both at one time. This is assuming you have the day/night shades.

We have a long shade in our Impact. That one has to be moved at the side, close to the string, only. Not sure if yours is the same, but maybe it will help. If we try to move it in the middle, it won't budge.

So glad we got rid of those crappy shades a couple years ago and replace with mini blinds!

I hate those shades. I will mount mini-blinds all the way around, as soon as I get done with a few more major mods. FWIW, if the shades are giving you a royal pain when it comes to raising and lowering them, the problem is, most likely, in the string tension. Locate the strings, on either side, and loosen the knobs they are wrapped around. Then, by trial and error, adjust the tension until they go smoothly up and down.
