Welcome to the forum!!
Go out to the water heater and take the cover off. Look in the lower left corner for a switch. If it's there then yeas your water heater has both electric and LP heat.
When your plugged into shore power at the campground, you can use both at the same time for faster recovery.

For the LHS models of Hideout, no. They should only have LP, as to keep the cost down.

According to the brochures available at the Keystone website brochure archive, there is an optional gas/electric water heater available on the east coast model luxury LHS travel trailers (standard on east coast fifth wheels).

I have both electric and LP water heater. I was told by the dealer that if put in electric mode and my hot water tank is empty that I would burn the filament out in about 5 mins. for safty reasons I only run gas

IMHO, never turn the gas, or electric heat source on until your are positive that the hot water tank is full. As a rule you should be able to turn on the sink or shower farthest from the tank, and not have any surge bubbles or "water hammer" issues. When nothing comes out of the faucet but water, you know you're purged. Now check your other faucets for water flow.
Whether gas , or electric, you will "cook" your hot water tank if you light it off empty.
Good Luck,

Once you know it's got water, I would use both. Faster recovery, I've been doing it that way for years.

+1, unless we are dry camping and even then, if we are not using the generator to run the AC.
Much faster recovery.
