Smile New Laredo owner in AZ

Just found this site and decided to register.

My wife and I purchased a new, 2012, Laredo 5'er in September from Holman Motors of Batavia, OH. We pull our 5'er with a 2012 Ford F250 Super Duty diesel.

So far, we have had one warranty issue of the rear grey water valve (we have two of them) being stuck open. Found out that this model uses tank valves that are cable connected. Will be changing them out as soon as the warranty period has passed for electrically actuated valves.

We plan on adding a Go Power Weekender Solar system (155watt) with a 1500 watt pure sine wave invertor. Our RVing being a mixed bag of commercial campgrounds and national/forest campground.

So far, I have enjoyed reading the comments on this forum.

Hi, I am from Tucson myself and do more winter camping then summer. We just got back from a weekend of camping yesterday afternoon. We went down toward Nogales by Pena Blanca Lake. Welcome to the forum!

Unfortunately a tree branch was under estimated and now we have to fix a rip in the 5th wheel (really it is 3 little ones, grrrrr).

Welcome to the group and we hope that you continue to browse through the posts and keep reading and also take the time to contribute. The forum and its members always benefit by hearing from new members with new ideas.
I'm sure you'll enjoy the added benefits that the solar panel and inverter will provide to you and help to make dry camping that much more pleasing.

Welcome to the forum, bbalay. Sounds like this is not your first RV. Hope you will post more info about your solar addition when it's all up and running.
