SEA Tri Slide Shower Door Track Wheel
Hi all:
Our middle shower door lost a screw in one of the track wheels. I have the screw and can see where it goes, but I can't figure out how to access the track. It looks like it's a part of the header, so I can't just pop off the header to access the rails . Here's a few pictures. One shows the outside of the shower doors. The picture with the red circle shows where the screw is missing (the track wheel is on the other side in the track). The last shows the header at one end. Any suggestions on how I can screw the track wheel back on?

The shower doors are “hung” on the top rail. You have to lift out the top rail with the doors and then you slide them out the end.

Well, that figures. So I have to remove two screws, break the silcone seal (which really isn't needed at the header anyway) and remove the doors though one end of the header in order to fix this. Geesh!
Thanks for the quick response. This seems to be the way to do it.

Can you get the screw started then use an offset screw driver to tighten the screw?

On our Bighorn 3575el I had this happen. I was able with a lot of patience I was able to get it back on with blue loctite on the treads without removing the header. Was not easy!!! Chris

This was our “first” repair job in our new Alpine. Needed HW help to start the screws and set the whole mess back on. Replaced every screw and yes, with blue loctite

My problem is bigger
On my maiden voyage, the securing hardware came loose and the center door ended up in a million pieces. I'm torn on what to do. To replace the whole door, with original $900 with shipping. Replacement reccomdations? Kind of thinking about resale / trade in value. I have the top and bottom aluminum bars. Maybe see if a glass company can cut glass to match. Would need a hole drilled in it. Probably expensive too.i guess looking for replacement reccomdations.

Here is an option for you. These are expensive also, but I thought it was a good option if I ever needed to replace ours.

Those were standard install on some Grand designs models. For the price I rate them as so so.
