Best tire pressure monitor
There are so many tire pressure monitoring systems out there priced from $50-$500. If you have one please share about yours.

In the end, I got the EezTire TPMS system with 10 sensors. I've been happy with it so far. It's easy to program (if you can follow directions and there's even a video which walks through it).
I did find that I need the signal booster (about $60 extra) - which I've purchased but haven't tested yet - that will be done on our next trip.
I know these devices can be pretty expensive, but I look at it as insurance against the potential damage and loss of life which can occur as as result of a preventable tire failure.

I'm using the TST 507 with flow through valve stems. 3rd year and still on the same monitor batteries. Does not require a repeater.
4 monitors for just the Cougar tires, cost was around $200

I’ve been very happy with Tire-Safe Guard, model TPM-R404N. No programming or repeater required. Just screw on the caps and plug in the monitor. I did find that the TPMS interfered with the GPS, so I am careful to mount the TPMS in the middle of the dash and the GPS to the far right. It allows the driver to monitor tire pressure and temp and the passenger can manage the GPS. Not sure if interference between the two devices is a common issue or not.
Although the system is essentially plug and play, one downside is that the batteries in the sensors are not replaceable. If a sensor stops working you must contact the supplier and get a new sensor cap mailed to you. I purchased the system in 7/2016 and haven’t had a problem so far. Cost was $239 in 2017.

I use the TST 507. Easy to install and maintain. Batteries last a LONG time (we've not replaced any in 2 1/2 years or so). Monitor is great, the mount works like it was built for a Ram 2500 dash.....

Been running TST 507 since 2015. Change batteries every 2 years cause I don’t remove them when parked idle.
The new 507 has a nicer color monitor that is easier to see

Same here. TST 507 flow-thru for the past 4 years. Works just fine although I’ve had to replace batteries a couple times on the sensors, but that is not hard with a small screwdriver. Definitely get metal valve stems to put them on though.

Sounds like the TST 507 may be for me. Those of you who have one, which one do you have the monochrome monitor or color. Monochrome is a little less expensive, not sure it's necessary. Your thoughts?

I had the mono, now color monitor. Both work well but color is easier to see.
Non-flow through for me, have removed the anti-theft lock as well.

I have not upgraded to the color monitor. Not sure what the difference might be but the mono works just fine for me.

Sounds like the TCT may be the winner, what about the Tire-Minder or the Tire-SafeGuard, those two sound pretty good. On the TCT does it matter if I would get color or monochrome

I just looked up the TCT and it's $510 CAN and the Tire Safe Guard is Currently Unavailable. Amazon.ca
Would be nice for the truck companies to add an expandable TPMS to trucks with Tow Package

Been running the TST 507 Flow through now for 3 years.
One sensor stopped reporting, so I thought the battery needed to be replaced. Opened up the battery compartment and .... lot's of corrosion from water. Put a new battery in and "no joy". Had to replace the sensor for darn near $50!!! Old sensor was out of warrentee by 1 month!!!! Just my luck.

I really wanted to have one unit to cover all tires - truck and trailer. Plus, the GMC 3500 trucks don't come with integrated TPMS (seems silly, but whatever). As a result, I went with the EezTire TPMS system. The sensors seems really well protected from the weather and the batteries are easily replaceable.
Also with this unit, the display shows a diagram of the truck and trailer with the wheels in the correct position for my set up and with a single press, I can disable the trailer component from the display (for those times I'm not towing the trailer).

The current Ford SuperDuty line does allow for integration of the rear view camera and the TPMS for the trailer as well as the tow vehicle. That said, it's a PRESSURE monitor system and does not include TEMPERATURE monitoring, so it's sort of "a one armed helper". But, there are OEM TPMS systems available on some of today's truck fleet.

I'm very happy with my Bellacorp TPMS. Cost less than other systems, although s nsors are not flow thru. Can have up to 18 sensors. 4 sensor model in link below costs $212

Also have TST507 with 10 sensors & has worked flawlessly for the past 6-7 years.
I also removed the anti-theft feature as it was a PITA to check pressures with it installed. If you have a dually the flow-thru ones were too long for my GMC to also fit any type of air chuck also. Batteries easily replaced by user & no booster needed on my CC DRW towing a 40' 5er.

Mine is monochrome. Don't recall a color one being an option when I got mine.
