It is possible the trailer will be a total loss. When the inspector walked through it, there is damage inside to the ceiling and the shower wall along with the interior lights and speakers.

I'd stop by your local rv dealer & pick up a few brochures. I'd bet you lunch they total yours.
Better yet, look in the classified section on here at mine that's for sale.

It is certainly looking that way. Towed it home from the dealership 358 days ago

Yes, the trailer is a total loss. Time for shopping. Lots to think about.

That's for the best, who only knows how many months/years it could take to have that one rebuilt.

If you REALLY like that trailer, it will go cheap when sold by the insurance company. If the repairs are within your DIY abilities, it may be a good project. If not, there are lots of new and nearly new just waiting for your needs.

Without a building/shed/cover for the next camper, I see this will happen for a third time. I am wondering if anyone has had success with any type of camper cover. I found this one: http://www.stormcovers.com.au/motorhomecovers/ It seems like it would be better than my standard winter cover during hail season.

I am not sure anything would have survived 3" hail, but our normal storms are only golfballs.
