I-10 Major delays

A barge hit a bridge piling on the San Jacinto River bridge on I-10 westbound, just east of Houston. Major delays especially at rush hours.
Unknown repair date.
If you are westbound through Houston I would take the US90 (College Street) exit off I-10 in Beaumont and stay on US90 through Liberty and Dayton until Beltway 8 or I-10 into downtown Houston.
Or, if you are ultimately northbound or southbound out of Houston you could take US287/69 north out of Beaumont, exit 105 west bound and get to US59 (I-69) in Cleveland, or continue on 105 to Conroe and I-45.
Good Luck.
