2005 Sierra 32' Water Front w/ SLIDE OUT

The 2007 Springdale sold yesterday and now looking at 2005 Sierra in same campgrounds. It is in A plus condition looking at it. One disadvantage is that no extra roof over it like the other one. The owner is asking over $12k and in his reply to me, he said all is working good. He has moved out of state and wants to sell. Should I offer $9k and be willing to move up to $10k. I am novice with RV's at age 75. I have had RV 1953 at another campgrounds for 33 years. But no heat or air, just electric. I did have makeshift water tank, bath house was close by for hot water and restrooms. I am looking to own just 5 or 6 years before selling due to age. My wife doesn't want me to trailer to other lakes in our area. I appreciate any tips and suggestions. In closing it right on water with great views inside and out. Boat dock is less than 50 feet away.
