Camco Cleaning products

Curious about the rubber roof cleaner and awning cleaner mainly if not Camco what would recommended for the roof and awning?
I use Corrosion X products Pro wash and Rejex sealer on the rest of the trailer as well as the truck.

My keystone manual says use a mild soap.and that no other treatment is needed. I clean it up with dawn twice a year and reseal and cracks in the caulking and forget it It has the alpha roof on it so alfa caulking is what I use.

I also use dawn dish soap twice a year on the roof and touch up any seals that need it.

The argument I’ve heard against using dawn is that it will take the wax off of your trailer. I’m not convinced that the incidental contact would remove wax. Most of the water coming off of the roof goes into the rain gutters not down the sides. I always wash and wax the trailer the same time I wash the roof anyways.

I don’t have any good recommendation for the awning.

My roof is Alpha Systems TPO and they specifically mention Dawn dish soap to wash the roof.

Here is the Alpha Systems website

And here is a video about roof maintenance

If using Dawn & worried about wax removal, which I also disagree, use one of the many car wash soaps that claim to wax & wash. I have a 50/50 mix of Turtle Wax car wash & McQuires car wash soaps that works great, rig (& truck) shines like a new quarter when finished. For stubborn roof & awning dirt I use Simple Green concentrate sprayed on, let sit for 20-30 minutes, scrub with medium bristle brush & rinse, nothing stronger needed for either.

I check the caulking before and after winter storage, and clear the snow off during the winter. Most I have ever done to the roof and awning is hose them off. There is no lack of Dawn around our house so I assume that will get the dark marks off.
