generator mounting

any one run a portable generator in the bed of their trucks?.....any problems?....any tips?

I use one of the Champion 4000 when I boon dock. It's heavy so I leave it in the truck when I run it. I usually pull it away from the side so the exhaust does not melt the liner.

Make sure you have enough power cord. My power connection on the trailer is in the back. If you have to back in and park on front, the 15ft will not be long enough.

Works fine otherwise.
