Hello all:

I have been reading this forum for about a year. I finally became a member in the fall and decided to begin posting today. I have been camping since I was young. My parents bought a travel trailer and truck around 2002 and I had been camping with them since then. Since I met my wife and we started a family, we continued to go with my mother in her camper. In september of 2012 we decided to get our own setup. We bought a 2004 F350 diesel dually crew cab. Then in march of 2013 we sprung to purchase our 2013 springdale 282. We have traveled over 2000 miles this year. We spent about 35 to 40 nights in the camper this year loving every minute of it. I plan to post in the mod section the various mods i have completed including the new storage area i am working on under our sofa.

I want to thank everyone who has posted which has allowed us to address any of the issues we have had and has inspired me to complete the mods thus far.

My family consists of me and my wife sara, our son and our daughter.

to the forum and glad that, after scouting us out for the better part of year, you decided to join in. Your truck and TT are a very nice combo and it looks like you are making good use of the Springdale. We're looking forward to hearing about your travels and reading about your up-coming mods.

Welcome to the site and glad you're enjoying your RV. My Wife and I hope to get to the Lancaster area this Summer and may be in touch with you for some info. Took a business trip in your area years ago and still remember the super Harley factory tour in York. We will definately do that again when we get to PA. Good luck with your rigs.

Let me know when you are headed to the area if you have any questions.

From the other side of the state, we bought our RV at Lerch RV near State College which may be towards your area. It was well worth the 1.5 hour drive. Those guys were great!

Most people on this forum seem to be so nice and helpful. This is great!

Summer Planning

CabinFever! Do you camp locally!? Favorite NWPA/surrounding area spot? We usually hit Family Affair, and McKean KOA once a year. We always camp at the Warren Co Fair for the week! Great trip for the kiddo's.

Wallet14... feel free to hit me up too! We're usually at least half way across the state once a year. Keep looking for good spots just West of Harrisburg, keep me in mind if you have ideas. Did Hagerstown Jellystone last June, Kids were fully entertained, course mine are still K & Pre-K.

Last year we went down to your neck of the woods to Petersburg VA, RoanokerRapids NC, and Myrtle Beach SC on our "long trip." We were talking about going to Massachusetts this year but I think we are gonna skip that as we are going on a cruise this year. Any idea of where you will be staying up here?
