If your trailer is equipped with electric and propane operation for your water heater you should be able to have enough hot water for a military shower. On your convenience centre you may see two switches for your water heater one will be marked LP Gas and one DSI electric try to keep it on DSI electric if you are connected to shore power all the time and when you go to take a shower turn on the LP gas switch they can be both be used at the same time and will increase your shower time significantly.

With the small tanks, I have always been told.. when in the shower, get wet. turn off water. soap up. hair and body. turn water back on.. rinse off.. Plenty of hot water.. plus it does not fill up the gray tank so fast..

If you have this problem in the future after filling LP tanks remember to turn on the tanks slowly. There are valves in the pig tails that restrict the flow of gas if it flows too fast. A safety function if a gas line bursts. Not getting a full flame from the stove is a symptom of this and as mentioned before, cold fuel tanks. Keep warm and recuperate quickly, Hank

Also, the temperature of the water you get out depends greatly on the temperature of the water coming in.
