I have a external haines watchdog 50 amp unit and wish to know if i use a 50 down to 30 amp plug adapter because some campgrounds only have 30 amp service is this compatible with the ems ? also i am going to install a soft start unit to my ac .Thanks.

Thanks for the link that takes care of the compatability question.I guess i would just have to beware of whole trailer power load without the softstart installed so i dont draw the full 30 amp.
