Howdy from the North East

Seriously looking at a used Energy TT. This will be my first RV.

I've been doing some research on what to look for when deciding on it. A quick search didn't show much because "Energy" is used frequently in discussions regarding electricity.

I have not really found too much (negative or positive) on the Energy toy hauler. (probably because they're a relatively small segment of the overall RV market.

Any helpful hints on what to look for/avoid would be appreciated.

I will be hauling with a F-350/6.7 TD/ (not dual) - pretty much stock (so far).

TIA.

Vixie.

Welcome Flybynight. I don't know any thing about the unit you are looking at but I will try to see what I can find out. Was also from the north east ( CT) before becoming a full-timer.

flybynight, I you go to Keystone Energy web page you can get some info there. If you doing a web search you have to include "Keystone" with "Energy toy hauler" to weed out all the electric stuff. I hope this helps, Hank

Picked up saturday

Thanks all,

I picked it up this past Saturday and towed it home (in the snow, no less) w/ no problems so far, fingers crossed and knock on wood

Can't use it yet since it's a cold Spring here so far and still winterized. But I have been slowly going through the various lists of things to do and buy and perhaps in another month or so it will be warm enough and I should have everything I need by then.
