Another Texas Newbie

Hello, we are the new owners of a 2013 195RB, and will pick our new trailer in roughly two weeks. We will be towing with a 2011 Honda Ridgeline using just a sway bar, no WDH. Any helpful comments from other Ridgeline owners would be a great help, and of course comments from other 195RB owners, also.

I already know to keep the weight down. We're moving up from a 17 footer, and don't plan on hauling any extra stuff.

Travel safe, y'all.

Robert --
Not sure if there are any Honda Ridgeline owners on here who use it as a tow vehicle but if there are, I'm sure they will have some helpful advice or comments for you.
to the forum and if you wish to have a look at our Pre-Delivery Inspection checklist, go to the Keystone Questions section of the forum. Look at the top of the threads - you'll see a Sticky there by that name. Many members have found it to be a useful tool when doing their walk-through at the dealership.

Thanks, Javi. You made a post back on 3/15/13 with all the towing info about the Ridgeline. You had as much info as the dealer or owner's manual. I made calls to 2 Honda dealers and they weren't a lot of help.

Take care, all.

Well, things are moving a little faster than planned. We pick up our new 195RB Saturday at Georgetown and will make a shake-down night at Cedar Breaks to check things out. Unfortunately, it will only be for one night, then back home to Centerville. Hoping for the best.

Take care , all.

Thumbs up Sweet !!

Thank you, Kristi, and indeed we had a nice, safe trip. Got home just about an hour ago. Mileage back home was about 130 miles. Got our new 195RB and camped out first time, last night in Cedar Breaks park in Georgetown, Tx. How sweet !! I love this trailer already. Now to get everything in it's place for the next time.

Take care, y'all.
