Outdoor kitchen hard to find

Am I the only person out there who would like the next fifth wheel with an outdoor kitchen without a bunkhouse? Our current trailer is a bunkhouse and we couldn't live without the outdoor kitchen, but I miss the recliners we had in our old trailer. I found that Cedar Creek made a couple style fifth wheel with an outdoor kitchen for one year in 2015, I thought it would have been better received. Has anybody found another fifth wheel with recliners, a couch, and an outdoor kitchen?
Thanks
Chris

Here's a few floorplans:

Cougar 29RKS
Cougar 327RLK
Sprinter 3551FWMLS
Sprinter 3151FWRLS
Sprinter 359FWMPR
Montana HC 344RL
Alpine 3501RL

These may well have some other drawbacks that would cause you to not consider them, but they do have theater seating/recliners and an outdoor kitchen.

Happy Hunting.

We own the Cougar 327RLK. Outdoor kitchen is very high, requiring a moderately high step-stool to use conveniently.

When I want to cook with flies I use a portable grill. When buying high on my list is 1. auto-level, 2. no outside kitchen. They take up too much space, are not insulated, eliminate a slide, and just an area to draw mice and ants. Happy for those that like them but the 2 of us see no reason for another kitchen to keep clean.

Chris, we "camp" with a couple in Florida who have or had a Cougar 327RLK or the direct descendant of it. Their outdoor kitchen was used extensively and I don't remember any complaints about the height. I don't know what year it was, but they only complained that the supplied refrigerator was "dormitory style" and not large enough. I didn't mention it at the time, but I wanted to ask her just where the builder might have put a larger fridge. I have never been inside, but it looked great from the outside.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll checkout those trailers.
I really want to see what the Alpine looks like, hoping to move up a level in the next trailer.

To each his own I guess.

The outside kitchen was #1 on the DW's list of must haves and I totally agree with her.

We enjoy cooking outside and are glad not to have the smell and grease load inside.

I have baked nachos and tater-tots in the oven though.

Cleanup is pretty minimal, for both locations.

It is also nice to be able to go inside, if weather conditions are crummy.

I agree and I’m NOT old!

I must admit, they seem to be very popular any more. I’ve seen designs improve from particle board counters to powder coated metal. Plumbing that wouldn’t stop leaking to no leaks.

This gives me a chuckle because when we bought our camper we thought the outdoor kitchen was nice and that we would probably use it. 3 years later, I removed the outdoor kitchen (the slide out stove and sink piece), put it in the storage shed, and the space is used for hubby's fly fishing stuff. We did leave the little fridge, but the rest of the space is awesome for fishing gear, and the bonus is its not under the kid s bunks inside the camper.

^^^^x2. Too messy on the trailer and just too much "stuff" to mess with .....on the trailer. I have all my cooking stuff and I cook outside; much nicer, not dirtying up the trailer and can kind of do it "my way".....and, I don't give up anything inside to have a bunch of stuff stuffed into the side that may or may not be exactly what I want.....

Outdoor kitchen was a "must have" for me and where I'm at in life - kids, still dry camping. By far the most important feature though is having a sink to wash hands in and cook. It's easy to setup a cooler, cook burners and grill. Replicating a sink with hot and cold running water and a drain is not so easy.

Same here. With three little ones, the outdoor sink is a godsend. The cube fridge is also nice for adult and kid 'friendly' beverages. Self serve too. We've used the 2 burner stove twice since ownership. Realizing the mess it makes and the trouble to clean it, it now sits idle. That's why electric griddles were invented. And now, the trailer stays clean.

I agree that with little ones my perspective on an outdoor kitchen might be different. We haven't had a "kid" in the house since 1991 so we're kinda cemented in "the two of us" mentality

Bar-one ranch, we just purchased a Laredo 2014 335TG 2014 it is 37’ 8” long has a summer kitchen, we are considering taking the bunks out of the back and adding another queen bed instead.
