Better introduce myself - with pics >>>
Hi everyone,
I hope image tags are turned on
I see 4 images per post are allowed so I will break this post up into 2 as I have 8 pics, and of course I can't leave any out.
I joined a couple weeks ago like most do to get a couple questions answered. This site has been very helpful, and in reading other posts, I have already learned more than from the "Generic" manual on my Alpine that is called the owners manual.
Our 40' Alpine is set up as a Park model a couple hours north of Toronto. Before anyone asks the question "Why would you buy a 5th wheel then use it as a park model"? The answer is .... we attended 2 very large RV shows last winter, and at the end of the day it was layout and trim levels of the Alpine that won us over. No kids, therefore no need for a second BR. The front Living Room design which is quite rare we absolutely love.
In order to tell a proper story, here are some pics along the way .....
The first of course is PRE-Delivery - The "Before Picture"
This summer >>>
This next picture of course is after trailer setup - and after we took down that big pine tree (and turned it into our welcome sign/chair). The Deck out front will accommodate the Florida room.
"the after shot". Yes, a hard-top gazebo and a new shed also went in. Full bar in shed of course. We decided on a NON-traditional Florida room to provide a bit more privacy
The roof is almost 10 feet tall ..... Makes for a nice covered porch area when it's raining.

Since you asked ..... a couple inside pics. First thing was to remove that useless 2 person swing out table in the kitchen (I'm 6.3") - since you can see in the background we have a full size dining table. This butcher block top unit is absolutely awesome. It fills the entire space, given 1 inch on either side.
As I mentioned, the trim level and the raised LR we fell in love with. We wanted a LR we could both lay down in at the same time. Most trailers come with 1 couch only.
Another .....
Last but not least - the Florida room is 12 X 23 9.5' ceilings. We decided to match the shutters with the outside - and it helped to fill up those big walls. The company did an outstanding job trimming the inside areas to match the vertical siding from outside.
Needless to say it's one of the sweetest setups in the park. It works great for us which is what is important.
I appreciate being a new member here.
Cheers,
Scott

Very nice indeed .... almost picture perfect! I say "almost" because I noted that your bar stool chair is a tad out of alignment with the rest of the room. If you were to move the back of chair ever so slightly to the right, it would make everything just "perfect"!
Now, how do you get all of the chairs, both inside and out, to line up in such a straight line?
I'm afraid though that you've set the bar too high for most of us to attain but the pics do give us something to aim for.
Oh yes, welcome to the forum from the "other side".
And another thing I noticed and I sure hankpage will point this out as well ........ the wine glass on the buffet is empty. ????

Yes I did notice that too. Looks great ... Enjoy the fruits of your labor ...and of course the fruit of the vine also. Cheers and Welcome, Hank
And Festus2 is wrong .... the bar is the perfect height.

Alpine
That is one nice set-up.
From a fellow Alpine owner and Canuck. We're set up in campsite in Ipperwash, on Lake Huron.
Enjoy the Alpine

Alpine
No, the deck was repurposed from our previous trailer. Had to replace a few boards, thus the different shades.

Camping in Style in Brooklin.
And I can't recommend them enough - you hear horror stories all the time with dealers but they have treated us like gold.
We had a TON of warranty issues ranging from tiny stuff right up to replacing the entire Island counter and they have taken care of it all. No questions asked. They rock.
