Hey everyone! We are camper hunting! We currently have a Jayco jay flight 154bh it’s 15ft...... very tiny. Well to got major hail damage and the insurance company totaled it. We have vacation planned in July and have got I find something. We are looking at the keystone bullets. We have looked at several and this one seems like “the one”. This will be our 3rd TT and I personally don’t like vacationing any other way. Any thought on the bullet? We are looking for
1. The toilet NOT in the shower
2. Around 25-27 ft long (ours was too tiny)
3. We want a slide out for more room
We have no kids but I have family kids that will come along. I have a 45lb labradoodle that is around the size of a child so we just need more room.
Thanks in advance!!!
Ashley

Welcome to the forum!!
Toilet NOT in the same room as the shower? Just about impossible without a trailer unless it has 2 bathrooms. Bigger trailer means more square feet to design with. You gat a more comfortable bathroom, but even the $100,000.00 trailers we sell have the shower and toilet in the same room.
Take your time, and when you find the “one” you will know it. EVERY RV can and usually do have issues, it’s all about how your dealer addresses them. Good luck in your search, post pics of your new one.

I am assuming you mean you don't want the toilet IN the shower? Right?

If that's the case most mid size trailers you refer to will do that.

Here's a link to the Keystone website for travel trailers. There are FIFTEEN different models to look at. Just click the link then click the brand you want to look at. When it comes up click on view all floorplans. It will bring up every model of that brand and you can click on the floorplan to enlarge it. You can then see how the bathroom, and the rest of the trailer, is laid out.

Thanks!!! We just left a dealership and looked at a mini lite by forest river and the cabinets over the sink were full or water. It’s discouraging. Still haven’t decided and we have vacation planned in July hahaha. There are so many to pick from!!!

Yes, the choices are seemingly endless and, for some, the search to find the "right one" can take years...me included. I know I'm biased, and others feel differently, but, for the money you won't beat the price, quality and floorplan selections offered by Keystone; I looked and looked, walked thru hundreds of units (still do) and I intend to go back with another Keystone when the time comes. I found the quality in Forest River/Rockwood, Palomino, Gulf Stream, Coachmen, Heartland, Prime Time and many other brands lacking compared to Keystone. JMO YMMV

Thanks y’all that is good to know! We are now looking at keystone bullet 243bhs. The problem we are having is that there are not many here (Charlotte area) for sale. The ones that are for sale they won’t budge on the prices. Please give me and tips or advice and I will keep you posted in our search.

Prices are subject to demand and right now the demand has outpaced the supply. That and it’s prime season, so you may be hard pressed to get the price much lower.

As Chuckster noted, I am afraid it might be difficult to try to get great pricing right now. The lots are full of folks buying left and right trying to get out and go camping. Your best bet is to get online and see who has what kind of inventory around you and talk to some over the phone to compare prices on anything you might want top buy. If your dealer is close, and the others are far away, it warrants, to me, paying a higher price to have a dealer closer to me. How much depends on the individual.

I know there's nothing beneficial in that but right now isn't going to be the time for a dealer to feel pressed to make a sale.
