Installed button code door lock

My wife hates to keep up with keys so I installed a button code door lock. Fits any modern RV and you can program your own code. Took me all of 20 minutes to install. I got it off amazon for about $160.

Did the same a few season back with same lock set. No regrets and our favorite modification so far (and we have done many).

If memory serves me, the buttons only lock the deadbolt.

That's one of the reasons I don't have one. You will still have to have the key to get in if it fails.

I put in new lithium batteries every spring and have never had the batteries go dead during our season.

If they ever did go dead, TT key is stashed in the TV that also has combo lock to enter.

My truck also has a button code access option. I keep a spare trailer key in my truck and a spare truck key in my trailer.
