Exclamation Roof Inspection

Did my first roof inspection on my 31BKPR. Everything looked good until I got to the front cap. I found where a screw/rivet from inside came up and pushed a come up on the edge of the cap. There are some spider web cracks eminating from the point. It didn't come through the cap. I'll post a picture as soon as I figure out how. Thoughts on fixing this condition?

You need to figure out where the screw is coming from. If you have overhead cabinets, the top framing may have a screw going up through. If so, take it out, cut the end off enough to not protrude any more and put it back in.

If you can't locate the screw, then you have a couple options. You can remove any sealant, grind the screw down and reseal. Or you could just watch it and keep it sealed.

If your still within the factory warranty period, get it in to the dealership and let them deal with it.
