Pantry shelf support modification

Not impressed with the shelf supports in the pantry of our TT they are plastic and have already broken. Don't think it is a warranty issue and it is not worth my time for a claim. Thinking about mounting a 1x2 in each side for support so they will be fixed and not adjustible then putting a 1/4 round on the front as a lip so items don' slide forward into the door. Would like to see other cabinet mods and suggestions.

I'm in the process of putting in 26" drawer slides and adding drawers to make it easier to get those far to reach spots. I'm making the drawers myself but you can get custom drawers built on-line for not too much $$.

Also put in a couple extra shelves, similar to what you're talking about Mike, but i didn't bother with anything to keep things sliding into the door. My wife puts down this shelf-liner mat stuff, its like a rubber sheet with holes, and that does a good job of keeping things from sliding around.

Yeah we have shelf liners in every cabinet a very wise inexpensive investment they also work to keep throw rugs in place.

I placed a rubber liner under the BluRay player on the TV shelf with the power cord tied as a short tether. Works great. It never moves.
