Cabinet Shocks Mod
No more holding up the door with my head. Should have been a standard item.

Funny thing is it was standard on our '07 Cougar. The cabinet over our fridge gets very warm so we leave it open when it's hot outside.
Nice work, Hank

Any RV parts store should have them "hanging on the display rack" in the hardware section. If not, they're available at Camping World: http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...-support/49541
There are metal ones (expensive and sold "each") and plastic ones (cheaper and come in pairs) It only takes one per cabinet door, so buy accordingly.

Guess we are lucky, none of our cabinet doors open up.
For coaches that have doors like that, you would think they would have something to hold the door, besides the top of your head?

I guess that I'm lucky as all 8 of my upper doors have shocks on them. I'm not to sure if I could handle trying to hold them open while looking for stuff.

Got em at CW, made by RV Designer, part# H279. A popular item I guess, call first for availability.

Mine open to the side, otherwise this would be a great mod to do. Now I'm trying to think of other places I could use these. Toilet?
