Refrigerator Leak

We are experiencing a very slow leak (1 drop per 2 minutes) from the front left corner of our Dometic fridge/freezer.

It is happening on the metal flange of the unit where it meets with the cabinetry. Both the front and the back of the wood rail are wet. It seems to be consistent on both dry days and wet days leading me to believe it is related to the fridge and not the roof. Though the air conditioner is in the vicinity as well.

We are in Florida, so high heat and 100% humidity right now. Would any components of the refrigerator sweat?

The drain under the fins in the fridge functions correctly, if I pour a cup of water in, I get a cup of water outside. Is there an equivalent drain tube for the freezer, if so where is it located?

I believe this is a new issue, as I think we would have noticed a small puddle prior to now.

Thoughts? Not looking forward to pulling the fridge?

Only the one drain. With the humidity your having, I wonder if the cooling unit isn't sweating. Can you take a flashlight and look down the sides of the refer cabinet from outside?

I have two guesses: First is that you have a very slight air leak at the lower corner of the door gasket. You can put a dollar bill in the space, close the door and if it slides out easily, the gasket is not sealing tightly enough. You may be able to adjust the door slightly to correct for the air leak. Don't pull, push or twist on the gasket or you may destroy the seal even more.

If that's not the problem, then there is a heater circuit in the door on the refrigerator. On the 2652 and 2852 there is not a switch to turn it off. On the 2662 and the 2862 there is a switch "under the eyebrow panel" that controls the heater circuit. If you open the freezer door and look at the center of the space under the control panel, you may see a switch, if so, make sure it is turned on. On all models, the door heater gets power from the "hot side" of the light socket inside the refrigerator. If it is operating properly, it will provide just enough heat to keep condensation from forming on the door gasket. If you check your refrigerator manual, you'll see all the wiring for that heater drawn on the schematic.
