Hello! New RV'er from Metro Detroit

Hello Everyone!

We're Ray and Debbie and are new to the forum and RVing and just bought our first TT and we live in a northeastern city in Metro Detroit area.

We bought a "new to us" 2014 Passport Ultra Light Grand Touring 2650BH and took it out on it's "maiden voyage" last week.

We originally had the idea for getting an RV to make our life easier when we "show" our dogs. We have Great Dane's that we campaign at dog shows (mostly regionally, but also some national shows) and after some really lousy hotel/motel experiences, along with the expense of those rooms, pet fees and just not having our own "stuff" around, we decided to take the plunge and get an RV.

We tow our rig with a 2011 Ford F150 Super Crew standard bed with the Ecoboost Twin Turbo engine and Extreme Tow package and so far it's been great.

We're looking forward to the experience and the great resources that a forum like this can have, especially to those of us who are new to RV's.

Great Danes to pull rig if the Ford fails.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new trailer! I think you'll find they are quite handy!

My son's wife LOVES Great Danes and they have a wonderful one now....Jose (as in Clint Eastwood's Jose Wales). Beautiful and sweet.....but BIG!

Welcome to the forum from suburban Memphis! Nice rig.....our friends had Great Danes for many years. If there is any evil bone in their body then we missed it.
