Attach flagpole

I have a Passport 2920BH. This unit has no ladder, so I assume there is not a lot of material to fasten things to on the rear.

That being said, I'd like to set up a 14' flagpole (to hook up cellular booster) at the rear of the trailer and fasten the lower part to the bumper.
I would like to attach the pole to something at or near the top of the trailer for support.

Any suggestions??

I use a Tire mount flag pole holder with a 20ft expandable crappie pole..

I have the Sunsetter telescoping flagpole with the optional tire stand.

I put the tire stand under the tongue jack, when setting up and then put the flagpole in.



I also have a cover bag the covers the pole and flags and use that at dusk.

The top of the pole has a threaded hole, that the brass ball attaches to, I have also seen other toppers like eagles and lights.

I have the plastic sleeve, set in concrete, in the front yard for when we are not camping.

It is a very well made piece.

The sunsetter looks like a very sturdy pole. I'm assuming it doesn't need any support higher up.
I know mine is a much cheaper pole and my concern is that it might need some support about 2/3 way up the pole. That's why I'm thinking about putting it toward the rear. Hopefully can find a way to secure it at the top of the trailer.
I'm going to use it for an antenna.

The pole is very sturdy, thick aluminum, 4 section, around 2 inches in diameter for the bottom section, I have never worried about it.

The tire stand on the other hand... a couple of times, when camping in the Big Bend area, I have dropped all the sections down, fearing it might break the welds on the base plate.

I think I have had it 10 years... no issues.

I use a collapsible aluminum flag pole that's affixed to the camper with a PVC pipe strapped to the inside of the A frame. I installed a marine grade 2 pole plug into the battery box and use a landscaping LED spot light (12vdc) that I affix to the top of the tongue jack with a velcro strap.

Here's the plug I used. Beside the plug is a marine dc volt meter. I installed that so I know when hitching up what condition the battery is in and that when the truck is running that the battery is charging. The battery disconnect switch is installed on top (the red knob).
