Trailer leveling and slideouts
I notice that whenever I level my trailer and then set it up one I notice that the trailer seems to be unlevel (port to starboard). How do you relevel?

I think what you're saying is that when you level your trailer, then extend the slides, the weight of the slides makes your trailer unlevel ???
If that's what you're saying, then try what I do. When I level my trailer, I do so with the slide side slightly higher. That way, when the slides are extended, it tends to pull the trailer closer to level.

If you have stabilizers jacks on the trailer, make sure you deploy them after leveling...but BEFORE putting the slide out. If no stabilizers, you may have to do as John suggested.....get that side of the trailer a bit higher when leveling.

Sometimes it is difficult to define level after spending too much time on a ship that is constantly listing to port. My DW constantly complains of my leveling job, I just hand her the level and ask her to place it somewhere and I will level it. She normally throws it back to me!!!

So, based on your answer......there's a possibility that you are half a bubble off? Sorry, that was too easy!

I think most of us laying down serious cash for these RVs are a least a 1/4 bubble out of plumb - that's why the world wobbles.

This is the exact technique I use as well. Worked especially well on the old Passport, which only had the left side slide.

Our unit has two large slides on drivers side so I level with that side 1/2 bubble high to compensate. If the DW gives me a hard time I may forget and end up with that side a full bubble low. (she sleeps on the drivers side of the bed L.O.L.)

I used to tell people when they jokingly would say that I was a 1/2 bubble off......well, that's a good news and a bad news story. The good news is that I AM only 1/2 of a bubble off.........the bad news is......that 1/2 bubble is on the 45 degree bubble!

That may be true, and I don't doubt that is what they told you, but it's been my experience, with my particular trailer that the cable operated slides work much better at going out AND coming back in when the trailer is level. I alway level before deploying the slides and I've never had any issues doing it that way. YMMV
