Memory Foam add ons
Does a Memory Foam add on make the mattress sleep hot? I can't sleep if it is too hot. The present arrangement is too darn hard. Thanks for any thoughts on this.

We've got a 2 or 3" topper. Doesn't make it too hot for us.

Memory foam is a wonderful product and any added warmth is a good thing in the winter and easily overcome with AC in the summer. I have not noticed that issue with mine.

Best upgrade I've done on the trailer to date. Got ours at Costco. I don't like heat either, and sleep like a rock. Maybe even better than on my home $4000 mattress.

We had a memory foam topper we added to our mattress on our last
cab over camper, only problem was it slided down when you climbed
up and down out of or in the bed.
For our 2011 Springdale TT we bought a custom made 9 inch thick
pillow top mattress to replace the "stock" mattress.
Best $475 investment for comfort we have made.

We have the novaform mattress topper from costco on our house mattress and our fifth wheel mattress. Could not sleep without it! I am warm blooded and no it does not make you sleep warm, but the fleece sheets my wife uses do!!

We bought these toppers from Overstock.com. They are gel infused, so they do not get hot. Used them all last summer, much better sleep on the stock mattresses. The king is the most affordable for the size you get. We bought 3. One trimmed for our short queen bed, and two more trimmed to fit the four bunk beds. With the scraps I have fashioned two dog beds and have enough left for a third if needed.

We got this one. Has cooling gel through out and keeps you nice and cool. Its cool to the touch even after sleeping on it all night.

Memory Foam Mattress Add-on
We added a 1 1/2 inch thick memory foam pad to the bed in our Montana High Country, and it made the bed sleep much better. It's the best mod we have made.

Memory Foam Mattress Add-on
We added a memory foam (1 1/2 " thick) to the stock mattress of our 2011 Montana High Country; and it made a world of difference - to the good. It does not slide around. I definitely recommend the mod.

We added a 3" Memory foam mattress topper we bought from Sam's Club for $99 last season. Made all the difference in the world. Liked it so much, we brought it in this winter and put it on the bed.
Last month as part of my de-winterizing, I went back to Sam's and bought 2 more Queen size. One went back on the Short Queen, one got cut to fit the two 68"x 28" (I think that's what they were) bunks. I had a little left over as it is was longer and wider than the bunks were so that got trimmed and put in the dogs bed inside the bed's zippered cover as extra padding.
Should be a better rested group of happy campers this year!

We got rid of the short queen in our 321TBH Terrain as it was a complete junk mattress. This is the one we purchased from Amazon and love it. I'll try to post a pic of it in the camper later. It came compressed and expanded after getting it in the camper. And for the price it was a worthy investment:

It looks HUGE but fit the space in our camper nicely!
