2018 Montana High Country 379RD

I looked at a model 379RD today at a dealership. My wife and I loved the fifth wheel. While walking around the exterior of the unit we noticed that the rear cap panel was bowed somewhat. When I touched, or slightly pushed in it flexed about 2-3 inches. The salesman claimed that this unit has a "floating wall" and that its normal!Floating wall?? Opinions please!

Thanks, LarryM.

That's one good looking full size for sure.
Here's a link to a previous thread on the subject.
Personally I'd have the make some written guarantees before I bought from them.

It’s quite common in a lot of different brands/models. I don’t have a preference, but I have worked on both and find the floating wall a bit more forgiving.
