The coffee maker in the house broke so I went out to get the single serve K cup coffee maker out of one of the cabinets. While I was in the Bullet, checked for any visitors with negative results. Looking forward to spring as most of you are as well, to get out there camping again.

Today I pulled out about 3lbs of silicon in the water heater door area and placed a piece of eternabond tape and a little dicor to the area and now it shouldn't leak in the cargo area when doing the maintenance on the water heater A couple of weeks ago we were at our favorite RV park and noticed the pressure relief valve leaking and that 3lbs of silicon did not stop it from entering my carpeted cargo area. This was a simple fix and weather was a perfect 72* today.

I hope you also replaced that dripping valve. My history with those valves, including on the S&B hot water heater and baseboard HW heat furnace isn't good. Once you open one to speed up draining the system, they often start to leak, You can match the valve on ebay or Amazon plus Home Depot for a lot less then an RV shop.
New adjustable pressure regulater for city water - check
New lockable door knob for master bedroom - check
New indoor / outdoor weather station setup - check
New electrical element for water heater - still having issues

I burnt up the original electrical element a few weeks ago by turning it on with no water in the water heater. Ordered what I thought was the replacement off of amazon. Come to find out, what I ordered looks like the original, but it's about 3-4 inches shorter. I installed it anyway and I didn't seem to do anything at all. I was going to google the numbers that are printed on the original element later today to see if I can't find an exact replacement.
No big rush as I can't still run it off LP, and my next camping trip won't be until late April / early May.
It sounds like you may have installed a 220 VAC element. It will get "half as hot" as a 120 VAC element. What you're looking for is a 120 VAC 1100 watt element with the correct "mounting base" and length. It's pretty easy to match up the element at Lowe's or HD in the plumbing section. Just be sure the wattage and the voltage are the same: 1100 watts and 120 VAC. Usual cost is about $7 at the big box store and about $12 at ACE or TruValue.
ADDED: I posted incorrect wattage above. According to the Suburban water heater manual, it's a 120 VAC 1440 watt element. The 120 VAC 1500 watt element at Lowe's or HD will work. Amperage at 120 VAC for 1440 watts is 12 amps and 1500 watts is 12.5 amps. Both will work properly on 14 ga Romex and a 15 amp circuit breaker.

Thank you kindly for the info. I didn't know Home Depot or Lowes had these parts. It will be nice to be able to walk in and compare so I know I'm getting what I need instead of ordering off the internet.

Actually I did not replace it yet because I've been reading about these things. Seems to be they leak often and because of expanding air in the tank and bla bla bla. It was only a small drip and not always dripping so now if it does I'm covered. Anyway when we have to do the water heater maintenance there is always a lot of water there. It was a fix that was necessary regardless. I do appreciate the advice and if it get to bad then yes it gets replaced.
I put a box of baking soda in the fridge (unit is winterozed) and put our new adjustable water pressure regulator (inspired by another thread from 3 days ago) in the front hatch.

I made some mud flaps from vinyl signs I had laying around. Fortunately there was angle iron just in front of the leveling jacks, which is really what I'd like to protect against the elements. Theres a potential for a lot of road grime to get at those connectors for the leveling jacks. I will change the to more robust rubber in the future. just wanted to see what it looked like. Hard to see in the photos maybe should have painted them white

Dave W it was a fun project. I am looking at installing the Liberty Rider suspension next.
I only took this one photo of the Hydraulic pump installation.
I installed an Oxygenics shower head and got a pair of walkie talkies for better communication with my spotter when backing in. I'm exhausted now and need a beverage.
