New Rig

After much debating, we picked up our new Cougar 293SAB on Tuesday! Have been "camping out" for the last 4 days at a local RV park one mile from the house. So far absolutely everything works except the furnance (90+ degrees here in south Texas), will check it this fall. Thanks to everyone for all the tips and suggestions I've learned from this forum. Next weekend we're off on a 100 mile trip.

C’mon, give the furnace a try. Run the A/C for a bit, then kick it over to Heat and see if at least the thing works. I did the reverse this past winter just to be sure the A/C works. Now I know I’m ready for a desert trip next weekend.

It sure is nice to have an RV park close to home. We had to abandon ship after our second night due to an ant invasion. It sounds like your maiden trip turned out better than mine.

p.s. Just looked at the specs. Awesome! Triple slide bunkhouse with two bathrooms! That’s a win all around.

Welcome, we have a 293sab aswell and have no problems with it. I hope yours treats you well. To answer 2 Black tanks question, yep 2 black,1 grey and 1 galley tank. Sucks to behind us at the sani-dump takes a while.
