Blue & Red valve in water input area

Just bought a used 2014 Raptor from the auction so i can't ask previous owner these questions so forgive me if these questions have been discussed before. I have a blue and red drain valve in the water input area. What do they drain? I also have lights above the TV fireplace area and can not find the switch anywhere, any suggestions?

Those would most likely be the hot and cold low point drain valves that are opened for draining the water lines during winterization. Can't help you on the other question.

Yup, they are the low point drains.

The two lights in the fascia above the TV are controlled by the main blue ceiling light switch on the control panel. And unless they changed them between yours and mine they get VERY hot as they are halogen, not LEDs. Finding LEDs to fit in there is a challenge.

Something else, if your bedroom is the same layout as mine, and it seems to only have been for about half a model year, there is a "hidden" switch when you are facing the front of the trailer, between the bed and the front dresser which is between the two wardrobes. There should be a "charging station" down about knee level, to the right, in front of the dresser and on the side of the right hand wardrobe. The switch is beneeth it. It controls a LED light above the mirror/cabinet that is over the dresser.

Also if you have a TV in the garage there are a bunch of switches half hidden behind it.

Also the TV antenna booster switch is up behind the bottom of the main living area TV.

I think that covers all the hidden/mystery switchs I can think of.

Glad to help.

One other thing, if you got the soundbar/subwoofer package with the Sony head unit, the sub is under the steps to the bed/bath. The soundbar/garage/outdoor speakers are controled with the balance and fader control. You'll probably see on the control panel those switch options are empty.

They changed out the whole sound system in 2014 and the control panel is just generic and goes in lots of models, so you probably have blanks where the switches once used to be. At least mine does. So put some tunes on and play around with the balance/fader on the head unit as well as the soundbar remote. You'll get it all figured out. It's a nice little sound system until you want to crank it up to PO your neighbors, than it starts lacking, but that's probably a good thing.

Its hard to believe that a 2014 model does not have bluetooth on the radio, time to replace the Sony for something more current. Thanks again for all the input.

It has bluetooth on the soundbar, I use it all the time. Radio generally sux IMO. Only problem is you have to turn the soundbar up if you want to listen outside. So yeah...

And you are welcome.

Canesfan, are all the interior light bulbs the same? I am not home now to check my interior ceiling light bulbs but i have pulled out the 921 style light from the standard light with switch.

No, they're not all the same. My regular ceiling lights are LEDs. The two above the E center are halogen. The two over the couch (switch hidden in the back corner of slideout) are LEDs. The ones in the plastic housings under the kitchen cabinet and above the head of the bed are standard bulbs (I forget what number) as well as the two pendants over the sink.

Give me a bit and I'll send you a few links of what I replaced them with.

The ones over the E center are T3. I replaced with these (they are a tight fit)

Somehow I thought you had the same model as me. I just saw I was wrong. :/ So what I'm telling you is totally different than what you might have. Sorry about that.

No, in mine, those are in 2 pendants over the sink. That's the only place there are 1176 bulbs in mine. I don't have any switches in the living room other than the ones on the control panel. The switches for the kitchen and hallway in mine are on the wall outside the bathroom. And the bedroom wall switch only controls the ceiling LEDs.

My bedroom ceiling lights controlled by the switch on the wall, inside the door, are factory LEDs, just like the main ceiling lights in the living area and garage. They are the flat pancake style LEDs. Are yours not?
