Remove AC rotating vent cover

Want to remove my AC ceiling vent covers and check that the ducting is taped correctly. Just don't know how they come off I suspect the taping is not right - don't get the air flow like my old trailer.

Hi
If they are like mine, just place small screwdriver in the little slots. There are 3 slots, one at a time and pull down hard, one side at a time. It will feel like you might break it but don't worry. It will eventually pop off.

air leaks

While you looking for air leakage in your ducting you might want to consider lifting the A/C unit off the roof. I had almost no air flow at all through my vents. In fact I actually had more air coming from around my ceiling light fixtures than I had coming out of my vents. When I lifted my A/C unit I found that the distribution box built into the ceiling had not been taped at all, anywhere. Plus the division between the return air and output air halves of the box was leaking as well. Typical piss poor work at the factory. Fortunately a roll of HVAC tape and an hour of my time was all it took to fix it right. Good luck.
