Possible Tire Steel Belt Broken?

I had a friend over last night and showed him the trailer. He noticed on the tires an indentation on the side wall, he said that the steel belt was broken? I looked at all four tires and they all have this indentation in the side wall. Has anyone ever heard of this? Should I be concerned?

Can you post a picture?

Some indentations or small bulges are normal where the plies come together.
I've had many tires do the same thing.

I don't have a picture right now but is is an indentation not a bulge... just a small indent...the length of the sidewall... I am assuming that it is ok seeing that all four tires have this. Im googleing right now to see if I can find some more info on the subject....

Ok, so i found this:

"You will find some degree of sidewall indentations on almost all radial tires. Indentations are formed where the fabric cord that is used in the body plies of the tire is lap-spliced together. These overlapping splices create slight indentations because the stretching capacity of the splices is less than the rest of the body ply material. In fact, the indentation is the most reinforced section of the tire."
Bulging, however, is not normal on a tire. It notifies that there is a gap between the cords, and must be replaced immediately. Do NOT drive on this tire, even down the road to a tire retailer.

Remember this easy math: indentations = good; bulges = bad.

delt tires for years. indents are usually ok, normal from the wearhouse, bubbles are bad, that usually indicates a broken belt or ply seperation.
