Help replacing 30amp shore power cord on Outback Loft

My plug is bad on my LOFT and rather than a $30 replacement end / plug I can get a new 30' 30amp cord for $40-$50.
But my electric panel / inverter is on the 'front' wall & cord storage is on back wall behind bathroom.
So my guess is the cord snakes under the trailer over to the panel.
Has anyone done this and can you offer any tips.
plus when I use my 'dog-bone' adaptor to a standard 3-prong 20amp GFCI I always trip the GFI.
Works fine hooked up to a non-GFCI & fine using the 30amp connector, but that GFI tripping worries me. Not sure WHAT to do there...???

Look closer where the shore cord enters, I'd be willing to bet there is a junction box. 110VAC wiring in RV's is usually Romex with the only stranded wire being the shore cord.
