Which x chock do I need?

I have a Springdale 282 BH. Does anyone know which x chock I need? Can I use the shorter ones or do I need the longer ones?

It depends on how far your tires are from each other. Check their website for suggested distances. My previous Passport needed the regular ones. My 2810BH needs the extended ones.

The tires seem to be farther than 10 inches at their widest point. I do not have anything to measure with at the campground, I am just hoping someone on here will know.

The xchock you need is this one on Amazon.

The Fastway wheel chock is the longer one with the middle extension arm. Here it is on Amazon.

To be honest, Fastway doesn't provide much lateral stability or reduction of suspension bounce. It will lock the wheels together to prevent "rolling movement". I never used the XChock so I can't comment.

I rarely use it now as I find the plastic camco chocks are easier to deploy. BAL lock arms work better IMO. I installed a set and it helped minimize some movement.

I have used BAL X chocks since 2008. Old fiver was 36' and a bit north of 12,000 pounds. I was able to park it on some fairly steep sites with ZERO issues.

If you find yourself on a steep slant, just lock in the chocks BEFORE you unhook.
