Check the truck first. If all the tail lights and running lights on the trailer are out, it suggests that the single wire for that from the truck has a problem.
Check the truck fuses first, there may be a separate circuit for the tail lights to the trailer connector on the back of the truck. The owners manual for the truck can be helpful here.
If you don't find a bad fuse in the truck, time to check the connector. If you have a test light or volt meter, check Pin #4 on the TV's 7 pin connector near the hitch. It is Pin #4 in the lower left hand picture:
If you turn the lights on and Pin 4 has no voltage, the problem is definitely in the truck.
If Pin 4 has voltage, then there may be a problem in the pins when you plug in the pigtail from the trailer. Inspect and clean as needed. Make sure the pigtail is plugged in all the way and latched in place by the cover of the connector.
