Insight on Fuzion 373

Hi folks,

So I just put money down on my 1st 5th wheel; a used Fuzion 373 TH. In a couple weeks, I will be bringing it home and will definitely posts pics! In the meantime, i was hoping that you all could give me some advice on things to double check when I pick it up; especially you past and present Fuzion owners.

It's a used TH (08) but the pictures show very little wear and the genny has very low hours. From those who own (or have owned) the Fuzion or similar TH's (Raptor?), any tips on specific areas of concern / things to check? I started a checklist but it's getting ridiculously long and most of it is just plain common sense; to me anyway. I downloaded a PDI that I will be going through at pickup and I am very detail oriented but this is my first 5er/TH.

TIA! I can't wait to start on the growing list of mods...oh yeah, and go "camping" too

Keith

Welcome to the forum !
If you downloaded and printed the PDI checklist, it's pretty complete and is equally applicable to both a new or used unit.
Enjoy, and definitely post pics.

Agree, most is common sense which can cause you to pass over some. Take your time and expect a minimum of 2 - 3 hours.

Got our Fuzion 345 chrome in April and put 5100 miles on it last year. Pretty much all good so far. If yours has original tired, regardless of miles, recommend I change those out right away. I have g rated tires and would recommend the same.

They r very easy to hitch and unhitch and back up. Do watch your height as it's easy to forget how tall they are. I would change gennie oil and filter as well. Have fun and take your time with the pdi

Thanks for the replies. Picked up the TH this weekend and couldn't be happier. Everything went as expected and there were no surprises. Now to get going on "the list"!!

Thanks getsum2! And good point on the tires.. The middle tire on both sides is worn on the outer edges but made it home without issues... 5 out of 7 of the tires are tow masters and the other 2 are missions...Sooo, tires are first on the list..

Thanks again.

Yeah, those need to go. If u decide (or need) to go to a heavier load range tire, make sure your rims can support the higher pressures. I have g rated tires on mine as that's what it came with. The tow masters aren't good at all. Check out rvforum.net for good discussions on tires. Good luck and have fun!
