I just uncovered Her!

I couldn't take it any longer. Winter isn't over but these 70 dgree temps have me itching to play with the toy. I'm installing the fifth wheel hitch kit in the new 3500 this weekend and the new wet bolt suspension kit on the Outback next weekend. Yay.

We could not ask for a better spring in many regions. It has been awesome. Enjoy your installs. I'd personally love to see pictures of finished installs on both.

Have fun

The itch

I hope to get mine back from the dealer by March 23rd, I had to take it back the second day after i brought it home, They have to do a small floor repair, So with the awsome weather im getting cabin fever. I cant wait to hear about the fun everyone is having, And hope to add some of my own.

Well, washed, detailed and hand polished 3 sides today. Cleaned caulk with a toothbrush. Yes, I'm a bit anal. 4 side tomorrow. Also install hitch in truck tomorrow.

Must be nice. Snowed today and is supposed to snow until the end of next week. Itching to get it out. Need to take it for a couple of warranty issues and then plan to be gone camping as much as possible.

weather has been really warm in NJ- Took mine to a motorcycle race with my son, figured I would have to re-winterize after the race- but it looks like no more freezing temps for us.

On an other note- When we race we dry camp and dumping the tank is always a problem, local campground does not open till may- So I just bought a flo-jet pump, it works great.

We will be getting our trailer out of storage next week and start getting it ready for our first trip. We have been in the upper 70's and even the lower 80's here. We have had almost 7 days of record breaking temps.

Gotta brag

I never put mine up. Took it out in January (cold but tolerable) then again this weekend, 75 degrees. Of course in a couple of months ya'll will be enjoying the outside and we will have 95 degrees and bugs! I'll still be out there though.

Called the dealer

Called the dealer and they said my floor was repaired,

I was told Via phone that they replaced the wood because of the hole in the floor, But reused the linolium,

It sounds to me that they cut it along the cabinets, I wont know for sure until i look at it. So far im still happy with the dealer.

I dropped the trailer off on a saturday March 10th, And i called them monday March 20th at 2:30 and they said they were going to call me, But i beat them to it.

We never put ours up either. We camp the most in the winter here in Texas since summers are scorching. I tried to detail the roof and sides last week but after nearly having a stroke (figuratively) with the roof, I half assed the sides. Now I am thinking detail guy for $135... may be worth it. I did have one issue last weekend with the outside (inside the waterworks area) spray handle connector snapping off and spraying water all over the hidden basement area. I saw water coming from under the false wall and had to open it up... now for another part to fix. Still happy to wrench on it.

trip

We have not put ours up either, it is spring and summer here most of the time so we pretty much camp all year. Leaving for Austin a couple of weeks and are hoping for a good trip. Good luck to all and hope most of you get out and going early.
