Hello from Richland, WA

Hello all. My wife and I just bought our first travel trailer last October (2014 Keystone Passport 2510). I never had a TT before (I always tent camped or had a cruising sailboat) but, my wife grew up camping in one with her family but, that was 50 years ago. So, we are basically brand new to the RV experience. We tent camped when we lived in Alaska for 20 years and we finally decided that perhaps camping does not have to be associated with cold, wet, wind, hungry, hard cold ground and other not so pleasant items associated with tent camping. We used it 2 weeks ago on our maiden voyage to a park about 12 miles from home. It was great. We love the TT and look forward to putting lots of miles on after we retire (3 years) and before we expire. We are heading out for a long weekend this weekend.

from Enumclaw. Did you get flack from anyone for camping 12 miles from home? We occasionally do when we camp 11 miles from home. Enjoy your TT.

from Western Washington. This is the state to have a camper in and of course a blue tarp.
Hope to see you on the West Side one of these days.
We head over the hump (Snoqualmie) quite often.

Welcome from western Idaho. We head your way a lot. Last year we were in Prosser for the wine tasting and at Boardman for the enjoyment of camping right at the river. Lots of things for you to do without going very far from home.
