Greetings from So Cal

I'm new to RVing and just purchased a 2014 Hideout 28BHSWE. My TV is a 2012 Ford F150 Ecoboost. Looking forward to gaining some needed experience from those that have been there.

congrats

great! we bought a keystone hideout last year and we love it! have put over 5k and it performs well - we tow ours with a f150 v8 and get about 10 to 11 mpg. we got ours at thompsons in fountain valley and store in chapman storage in gg. let us know if you want tips where we take it camping locally or out of state.
enjoy

Thanks for the welcome!
Ed, that's where I bought mine. We are planning to go to Oceanside at the end of the month and have a trip to South Dakota and Bryce Canyon in September. Should be fun.

Hi there! We bought our Hideout 24RLSWE in French Camp, about 8 hours north of you. We go out for the first time next weekend to Chowchilla. Just a quickie to get the hang of trailering...

Congrats on the camper.
I don't like to say "camper", it does not
sound classy enough.
Enjoy and pray for warm weather.

Excited for you - great times ahead. Don't know your camping preferences but:
Pechanga is wonderful - especially if you play golf - the free driving range is amazing
Lake skinner is nice and close - can get crowded
San Diego KOA Chula Vista is very good and convenient
East river in San Dimas is ok beautiful on the A lot
We like the KOA in Pomona for a quick getaway especially during an RV show
If you can get in San Clemente state beach you'll be thrilled great views, close to town and good spaces
We will go to santee lakes the first week of April - we'll let you know
This summer going to Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado South Dakota and glacial natl park!

Cory at the service dept. is cool
Happy traveling

Welcome,
We bought our RV from Thompson's Fountain Valley at the Pomona RV Show last fall. Great folks to work with on the sales end. No experience on the service end yet and CW is closer when we are in Cali.
Have had a home in San Diego since Mission Valley was farms and dairies.
Feel free to ask away on info down that way.
